Brittany Ferries is a ferry company that operates ferry crossings between France, Spain, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

A privately owned French company that was started by Breton farmers in 1972, runs a car ferry daytime and overnight service from eleven European ports, connecting four countries: the UK with France, the UK with Spain, Ireland with France and Ireland with Spain. The company is also a leading supplier of ferry-inclusive motoring holidays to France, Spain and Portugal.

Brittany Ferries currently owns 7 cruise ferries, 1 high-speed ferry, 3 economy ferries and one freight-only vessel. All cruise-ferries have air-conditioned cabins with en-suite facilities and in total around 7000 beds across the entire passenger carrying fleet.

Brittany Ferries is a winner of The Telegraph’s award for ‘Best Ferry operator’ for the fifth year in a row in December 2018. The company employs between 2,400 and 3,200 employees (including 1,700 seafarers), depending on the seasonal nature of the activity.
