Pula to Dubrovnik by Ferry

Getting by ferry from Pula to Dubrovnik could be a very nice sea crossing and an excellent opportunity to see the Croatian coast by slow (or faster) ferry. There is currently no direct ferry crossing that connects these two cities. However, by careful planning, you can reach your destination and enjoy the travel and views across the sea and coast from the ferry as well as from bus windows.

The total distance between Pula and Dubrovnik is 420 km and the time involved for this route is at least 14.5 hours with one daily departure option. Here are the travel options:

The first leg of the trip is Pula to Zadar ferry. It lasts just under 5 hours. Departing in the early morning at about 7:00 you will arrive in Zadar just in time to get on the 12:40 bus to Split. The ticket price for this part is about 27 euros one way. Note: This is not a daily route, so make sure you check schedules carefully.

The second leg of the trip is Zadar to Split journey. It lasts between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the route. Departing at 12:30 you will arrive in Split just in time to get on the 15:30 ferry to Dubrovnik. The ticket price for this part is about 17 euros one way. Note: If you depart later from Zadar, you will not catch a ferry on the same day so you would need to overnight. The earliest ferry the next day is 07:40 or 09:15 (Tp Line).

The third leg of the trip is the Split to Dubrovnik ferry. It lasts just under 5 hours, depending on the route. Departing at 15:30 you will arrive in Dubrovnik at 21:30. The ticket price for this part is about 40 euros one way. Note: On its way to Dubrovnik, the ferry stops in Brac, Hvar, Korcula, and Mljet.

Dubrovnik to Pula by ferry

For the return journey, Dubrovnik to Pula, you will start your trip in the morning from Dubrovnik, at 07:0 and you will be in Split at 13:00. Get on a bus to Zadar to catch a ferry at 16:00 for Pula. You will arrive in Pula at 20:45. The total ticket cost is the same as above -> 84 euros. The alternatives are the same as above.
