Liberty Lines
Liberty Lines ferry company is a fairly large Italian shipping company, owning 32 fast ships, that serve ferry crossings in Italy including the North Adriatic sea, connecting Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia. It was established initially in 1993 as Ustica Lines (Sicily, Italy), branched up later in 2011 as Trieste Lines, and started serving Istria ferry routes connecting Trieste with Piran, Porec, Rovinj and Mali Losinj.

Liberty Lines ferry company currently has a fleet of 32 ships including hydrofoils, catamarans, and single-hulled ships. They all serve fast ferry routes within Italy as well as to Croatia (Istria)

FAQs
You can do online booking, get tickets from local travel agents, or on the day of travel, buy a ticket at the boarding point.
Get in port at least 60 minutes prior to departure. Bear in mind that you have to do customs and border crossing procedures, as these ferries are crossing international borders.
The luggage allowance is two bags per person. Charges apply for additional or larger bags.
At present, bikes are accepted on the board (a small surcharge applies)
Small pets are accepted on board free of charge.
