Onboard Facilities & Luggage
This route is served by Prince of Venice (or Angela) vessels, owned by Adriatic Lines which is an HSC ferry, a high-speed catamaran, comfortable & air-conditioned (see video). You are allowed at least one piece of luggage with the extra charge for additional luggage (€ 5 per bag). The larger luggage is held on the racks at the entrance of the ferry. The racks look similar to racks on trains. The crew helps with luggage. Your hand luggage you keep next to you, at seatings.
There is a snack/coffee bar and toilets. No mobile and laptop charging sockets or USB ports are available in the passenger lounge. No WIFI access is provided – use mobile data instead. This is a non-smoking ferry.
Where to get tickets for the ferry from Umag to Venice
Booking is available online usually from January of the current year. Your ticket is emailed to you with a bar code which is scanned when you get on the ferry. Buying tickets in advance guarantee you place on the ferry. Alternatively, on the day of travel, if any of the places are still available for the ferry crossing, you can buy a ticket at the boarding point at Umag Passenger Terminal.
