Getting To Ancona Ferry port

Getting to Ancona ferry port and passengers terminal is easy. The passenger terminal is situated very close to the bus and railway station, about a 20 min drive from the Airport.

How to get from Ancona Airport to the ferry terminal

Ancona Marche Airport (AOI) is 12 km away from the ferry terminal. Regular 30 minutes bus shuttle service between Ancona town centre and the airport (AOI) (marcheairport.com ). Getting from Ancona railway and bus station to the ferry terminal

The distance between the Ancona ferry terminal and to the train and bus station is about 2 kilometres. If you don’t have heavy luggage you can walk there in about 30 minutes. Alternatively, take a local bus or taxi.

This is also the main bus terminal. From here you can get a bus or the train to the rest of Italy, including the airport shuttle bus. The convenient trolleybus line is in regular service from the train and bus station/terminal to the ferry port terminal and city centre.

Luggage Storage in Ancona Ferry Port

There is luggage storage in the ferry terminal itself (Molo Santa Maria Dock) as well as in the railway station and in the main bus terminal. Opening hours are 8 am to 8.30 pm

Check-in, ticket office, ferry boarding

  • get to the ferry port at least 2 hrs prior to your departure
  • get your boarding pass at the ferry check-in office which is about 20 min walk from the ferry boarding points. The Check-in office is here
  • a free shuttle bus line 20 takes you to/from the ferry boarding point
  • you will pass the immigration procedure just before the boarding
  • for an orientation around the area, follow the well-placed and clear signs

Parking in Ancona ferry port
